Waldorf Alumni 2025

The questionnaires will be open from 9th of May to 31st of October 2025.

The Waldorf Alumni 2025 study is a research project initiated by NORENSE and is done in collaboration between Steinerhøyskolen, Waldorflärarhögskolan and Snellman-korkeakoulu. The study aims to provide knowledge about how former Waldorf students in the Nordic countries (Finland, Norway and Sweden) perceive and evaluate their time at Waldorf schools and what influence it has had on their lives today. The research design is based on a study by Randoll & Peters (2021), but adapted to Nordic conditions.

The intention is to provide robust and comparable knowledge about the social contribution of Waldorf education, and to give constructive feedback to Waldorf Schools on how the pedagogical methods, approach and content are received and valued by former students. This can be used to develop Waldorf pedagogy in our countries.

The cohort of informants consists of former Waldorf students, born between 1982 and 2002.

The data will be collected through a digital questionnaire via the University of Helsinki. There are questionnaires for each of the three countries. The questionnaires will be open from 9th of May to 31st of October 2025.
