The article will be based om the thesis of Leif Tjärnstig and aims to deepen the concept of Bildung that is used in the thesis and contextualize some aspects of the outcome in a Nordic pedagogic context. The aim is to place some examples of didactical practices from the participating waldorf teachers in the thesis into an established discourse of didactic with relevance and actuality for the Nordic countries. The theoretical framework of Bildung from my PhD will be used and developed further in the article, aiming to a reconceptualization of traditional didactical concepts related to Bildung such as educability.
